I find that when things are going well, time slips away and I fail to add any thoughts here. Yet uplifting words from positive days are as important as tips and suggestions for managing bad days. So with that in mind, I began to think about the past weeks.

What made them better than others? Was I dealing with problems differently? Why was I able to slide through a month without mood swings when there have been times I couldn't go a day without one.

I don't know that I have just one answer. First, I take the prescribed medications at the times suggested by the psychiatrist. Second, I have positive quotes, in the form of wall art, in my apartment. Third, I remember there are people who are worse off than I am. And last, I try not to focus on negatives.

Finding what works can take months, or years. Don't give up. Keep trying until you develop your own way to keep in the sunlight. Think positive. It can happen.
