You have to strip away the layers and look inside. Even when it hurts.

Discovering who you are takes courage and strength that many of us don't realize we have. But if you want to learn who you are--who you are on the inside--you'll find them.

One way is to see your moods and behavior patterns as if you're looking at someone else. Next, tell them what a good person they are, how many people believe in them, and how much they've accomplished in life. You focus on the positives and push the negatives to the side.

The more you learn, the easier you can handle the mood swings and the lows. Instead of lasting days or weeks, they last hours. There will always be setbacks and bad days. Once you discover your inner self, you can take control over the bipolar instead of letting the bipolar control you.
