Bipolar isn't the only mental illness, of course. Depression affects many people too. Although the symptoms aren't identical, both disorders have lows that can interfere with our life.
As with all illnesses and ailments, treatment varies for depression. Medication can help. Counseling or therapy can benefit the individual a great deal. Talking to a health care professional is the best way to determine how to treat depression.
Depression, bipolar, or any other mental illness . . . regardless of the diagnosis, you are never alone. Ask someone for help and enjoy life to the fullest.
