Manic episodes of bipolar can trigger many issues. Individuals might go without sleep for a night or two while they clean the entire house, sort through storage totes, or rearrange cabinets. Obsessive cleaning could be related to OCD. But OCD is related to bipolar. So how are they related?
It's simple, really. Bipolar causes chaos in our brain. We cannot fully control our brain. So we control the chaos around us. The OCD can be a way to silence the mania of the bipolar.
